Glamour of Healing

As a lot of you know, October is breast cancer awareness month so I have resolved myself to do at least one piece to celebrate this. When I started thinking of the horrors of cancer I immediately thought of fantasy since the world of fantasy is often an escape from reality. As I thought more and more about fantasy I started thinking of a magical elf who had fantastical healing abilities and no matter where she went glamour surrounded her and she was able to channel this glamour into a healing force. So here is my elf clad in the colors of green and light pink. Green represents life and pink represents the fight against cancer. In her hand she holds the cure and it is her purpose in life to bring this cure for cancer to as many people as possible. Naturally, I wish this fantastical elf was real.

For those of you who have suffered due to any type of cancer, I sincerely hope seeing this elf may bring you joy. To any who have passed on due to this disease, I wish you many blessings as your body rests while your soul seeks solace in a higher power.
